My 2022 Book ranking

Hello, all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Here in Buffalo a winter storm derailed plans for many of us, I’m sure, but it was a great reminder that it isn’t the day that matters, but the people you spend it with. I had a lovely time opening presents and playing games with my family.

I have been wanting to do a book bracket for a while now, I’ve seen them on YouTube and TikTok and I thought it would be so fun to do my own! While I have not read a ton of books this year (school has proven to be so much work, this year) I was able to come up with 16 books I read in 2022 to rank! This was super fun, and I’d recommend doing this with your own books you’ve read this year! It’s a great way to see if your tastes have changed or stayed the same, or if there’s a particular genre you loved this year. I’ve included a picture of the actual bracket I handmade with this post, for anyone interested in seeing how I did it.

Without further ado, here are my top 16 books of 2022, ranked in order of best to worst (Keep in mind that “worst” in most cases are still very good).

1) Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

2) This Is How You Lose The Time War by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar

3) A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross

4) Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell

Fashionably Yours,

Hanna
